Bubbling over with joy. It’s simply contagious when you spend even a second with the Bennetts. The connection between them and their ability to invite you into it is a special gift. It has been a joy to get to know the St. Jean’s and share in carpooling our kiddos with them this fall. We’re fortunate to be right around the corner from one another, and it’s wonderful to have such good people to do some of those rhythm of life things with. When a week-long forecast of rain and potential thunderstorms turns to beautiful sunshine in the last moments, you know you’re in for a special day. And that’s what we got for Lorna and Bobby’s beautiful and joyous wedding day. These two have such a gracious and peaceful way about them, and it was reflected throughout the day in the way they celebrated with such joy and created space to be with their family and friends. Frick Park brings the magic year round. I had the great privilege of spending some time with my new friends Lorna and Bobby and exploring one of their favorite spots in Pittsburgh. They absolutely love the outdoors and Frick is a glorious getaway right in the middle of the city. It was wonderful to get to know these two more and see the thoughtful and peaceful way they engage with others and one another, and I am so looking forward to getting to document their wedding day next year. The perfect summer weather, a gorgeous wedding venue, and two incredible people surrounded by their family and friends… It was an honor to get to photograph the beautiful wedding of Leah and Chris, and witness their community celebrate the genuine and inspiring love between them. They both bring such a down to earth and kind presence to everything they touch, and it was reflected throughout the day in a thoughtful and gracious ceremony and a wonderful dance party to cap the day.
