Beth & Dave // Waltham, MA

There is no better way to describe Beth & Dave's wedding than the word joyful. Each wedding I photograph is a particular honor, but this one had such a special aurora to it that was so clear every time Beth and Dave were together. The love they have for each other just radiated. It was truly a beautiful thing to see. On top of all that, they had a beautiful day, a killer venue at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, and such a great group of folks around them. Enjoy some photos of the day below.

Thank you again Beth and Dave! It was such a pleasure to be there to document your wedding day.

Jenn & Daniel // Andover, MA

Wow. Just wow. What an amazing day to get to photograph. Jenn & Daniel built the most perfect day, not because they were given ideal weather, or had a stunning venue in Smolak Farms, or delicious food, or gorgeous details, but in the way they had built such an amazing community of people that made the celebration of their wedding just... wow. These two have just such an amazing love and joy and it was such an honor for me to get to document it. This is one of my largest posts EVER, because I had such a hard time narrowing down the photos. I hope you enjoy the visual story of the day. Congrats Jenn & Daniel! #PaiktotheFuture

Larissa & Andrew // Boston, MA

What do I even begin to say about these two? Andrew has quickly become one of my closest friends and is one of the most honorable, thoughtful and caring people I know - I don't know what I would have done the past year without his friendship. Larissa is one of those magnetic people full of so much kindness and warmth that its so easy to be around her. Together they are this fantastic duo of love and strength and character and I just cannot wait for their wedding this summer. We had so much fun heading out into Boston on an early January morning. Enjoy some photos of these two:

The Dodds // Jamaica Plain, MA

Have I mentioned recently how much I love doing family shoots? I really think it's connected to my own family growing, but nonetheless, it is such an incredible experience to capture these budding and growing lives.

Recently I had such a wonderful time getting to spend some time with the lovely Dodds. Our family (and SO many others) has been a consistent recipient of the generosity and service of these two (now three!). And is has been so much fun to see their family grow and boy is Barnaby an amazing little guy.

Enjoy some photos from my visit with them:

Madeleine Jean // Born September 21

Life has flipped upside down since my last post.

I am now the unbelievably proud father of one Madeleine Jean - born on September 21, 2016. The past month has been full of some of the most unbelievable, magical, mundane, and messy days of my life... and I LOVE it. Well I love my wife and Madeleine for just being so darn amazing.

Thus, my energies have been focused upon this little nugget (in addition to work & grad school), so pardon the blog if this winter you notice I'm taking a bit of a hibernation. I will do my best to post here and there on instagram for those who want to connect.

Here are a few of my favourites so far of our daughter:

Colleen & Joel // Cape Cod, MA

A beautiful Cape Cod wedding in every way, Joel and Colleen's day was so full love and powerful joy and emotion. I got to know these two last year during an engagement session, and I've been looking forward to their wedding ever since. They are just the most joyful people. And love each other dearly, it comes through in their small gestures and looks and words. It was an honor to capture their day -- from a gorgeous beach ceremony to a lobster feast, these two knew how to throw a celebration on the Cape. Not only that, but the ceremony was next to where they were engaged and the reception at the location where they first me. Enjoy some photos from the day:
