Jalaine & Nathan // Louisville, KY

Over two years in the waiting, Jalaine and Nathan’s wedding was a glorious celebration. Originally planned for 2020, Jalaine and Nathan went ahead and had an intimate front porch wedding during the height of the pandemic and after over two years of waiting, finally had the opportunity to celebrate their union with friends in family. They are dear friends and it was wonderful to get to share in and document their day. Enjoy a few photos from the celebration below.

Leah & Chris // Butler, PA

The perfect summer weather, a gorgeous wedding venue, and two incredible people surrounded by their family and friends… It was an honor to get to photograph the beautiful wedding of Leah and Chris, and witness their community celebrate the genuine and inspiring love between them. They both bring such a down to earth and kind presence to everything they touch, and it was reflected throughout the day in a thoughtful and gracious ceremony and a wonderful dance party to cap the day.

Enjoy a few of the moments:

Congratulations Leah & Chris! Thank you for inviting me to be there to help document the day.

Leah & Chris // Pittsburgh, PA

It may have been a bit chilly, but that afternoon sun was just glorious… I had an absolutely wonderful time with Leah and Chris taking some engagement photos at one of Pittsburgh’s iconic viewpoints - and the location of their first date. It was so fun to get some time hanging with these two, easily some of the most genuine, sincere, and warm people you’ll ever meet. Enjoy some photos from our afternoon at the West End Overlook.

Congratulations you two!

The Palmers // Sewickley, PA

This is a special one. I love all of the shoots I get to do, but when you get the opportunity to photograph folks you know and love so much, it is a fun and rewarding challenge. This is my family - my in-law family - that we get to share life with week to week. It is such a blessing for my family to get to be near these folks and we’re grateful our kids are getting to build memories and life together a bit. I’ve taken many-a-photo of them over the years, but we had never done a “formal” photoshoot. With the arrival of their 5th, it was time for a new family portrait and on a gorgeous spring day we spent some time at their lovely new home to get a few photos. Enjoy some photos of one of the most thoughtful, energizing, welcoming, hilarious, loving, and wise families I know…

Leslie & Mike // Pittsburgh, PA

On an absolutely glorious spring day here in Pittsburgh, Leslie and Mike had an intimate, touching and heartfelt wedding ceremony. It was an honor to get to meet both of them and be there to celebrate their love as it overlooked the City of Pittsburgh that day. You could feel the energy and excitement emanating off of them, and hopefully it comes across in the photos. Due to the pandemic, it had been quite a while since I had the chance to photograph a wedding, but this was the perfect one to jump back in with.

Congratulations to these two and all the best wishes for the years to come. Enjoy a few moments from the day!

Isabelle // Pittsburgh, PA

Isabelle and her family have been such incredible friends since we moved to Pittsburgh. She has also been a wonderful help with our girls, and it was so much fun to do a senior photo shoot to capture some of the last of our beautiful fall colors and the amazing skyline of Pittsburgh. Isabelle is a great banjo player and I encouraged her to bring it along for our trip into the city. We laughed that she’s now got some photos for her debut album.
